I can't speak highly enough of Sitka gear! I have their base layers, gloves, balaclava, hat, shirt, stratus jacket and stratus pants in the elevated ii pattern. The deer have so much trouble seeing me and the gear that has gore tech in it stops the cold wind from penetrating. Everything has been worth the price tag in my opinion. I love that they have tall sizes everything fits perfectly which is unusual for me since I'm tall (6' 2") and skinny.
I have been buying good gear my entire hunting lifetime...about 30 years. Just putting on Sitka gear is an experience, but being in the field with it is on another level. I had questions and hesitations prior to switching all my gear over to Sitka, but whatever the price tag was ( I act like I don't know, but it was serious $$) those hesitations disappear once you are in the elements in the stuff. The gear is almost intuitive and it feels like a part of you. You can't cheap out, buy the correct layers for different seasons and you'll be comfortable in anything. Buy it as an investment for the future and you won't be buying anything else ever again.
I didn’t give a great review of the Equinox Hoodie, or the Fanatic Hoodie, but this one is awesome. I should have went with the Stratus line from top to bottom. These are great with just a pair of thermals on underneath and had no issues with warmth. My feet were the only thing below the belt that got cold.
I spent a ton of money on Sitka stuff and ended up sending most of it back besides this series. This Stratus series is worth the money. Layer and use it for cold weather or just use it and stay warm down into the low 50's. I bought jacket, gloves, beanie, and neck guard. Highly recommend!
perfect pants for mid or late season hunting. in extreme cold hunting conditions wear these pants under the Incinerator bibs and you could easily hunt in frigid single digit windy conditions. as all Sitka gear you will need to go up one size based on what you would normally wear. you cant beat the consistency of how well made all of the Sitka gear is. well worth the money spent on hunting gear that will last for many years in all conditons.

Great price for the kit and theyre the same brushes as every other set ive bought. i like how cheap they are because i treat these as 2-3 time use brushes anyways. what makes it really stand out is the good quality case for what i consider practically disposable brushes (because theyre difficult to thuroughly clean) and the pick has a protective rubber on it to keep it working well. 10/10 would buy again when i get rid of the two kits i just bought. the picks and case are gonna be reusable so id like to see just replacement brushes for cheaper/ also the case has a strap to hang it from that can easily be tucked in the case if you're like me and just throwing it in a range bag or cleaning kit.
These brushes in various shapes/materials are perfect for cleaning pistols, rifles, etc. I've used them to get rust off of the outside of the barrel on some of my older guns, as well as deeper cleaning the inside of pistols and rifle receivers. A must have, and for the price you really can't get anything better!

I've got to say I was wondering just what kind of quality this boresnake was going to show up as. In short it's almost the same as another popular boresnake which I myself own many of. It isn't the same quality as the viper boresnake but, that's apples to oranges. The knit and copper brushes are the same material and it's about half the price. So if you want a quick, thorough and most importantly cost effective clean barrel this is where to put a few bucks. I was not given a discount or compensated for this review in any way. This is my sole opinion of this product.

Recently purchased another rifle and was looking for a Bore Snake to cut down on the time spent cleaning after range days (which are usually twice a week as I quite enjoy it). Came across this little guy, didn't recognize the company, but gave it a chance and have not been disappointed as of yet. The stitching is high quality and certainly on par my "name brand" snake of a different caliber. Two or three passes down the barrel with a few drops of your favorite solvent/lubricant and you'll be good to go. Highly recommend as of yet and will update this review in the future to report on longevity.

Spend the extra bucks and get these instead of the the Richen brand. These have more materials engineering though they look the same in diameter and have double the bristles. The dark green one is the Ultimate BoreSnake and the tan one is a Richen. Keep in mind the Richen one is for a rifle so that is why it is longer. The Richen brand makes me worried it will snap when tugging on it to pull it through. These Ultimate boresnakes feel much more sturdy.
The bore snake is handy and cleans the barrel efficiently to go on for a week or more - by just using the Ultimate Bore Cleaner in my case for Shotgun (Trap). At home, I can add a little spray CLP liquid (e.g Ballistol, Barrel Cleaner, and similar products) for a quick, non-detailed barrel cleaning. For visual effectiveness replacement, the bore cleaner is in white color, this helps to see when it needs to be replaced.
Bore Snakes are awesome and a great way to clean a shotgun after a fun day of hunting or shooting. I bought a 16 gauge a few years ago, and never got a bore snake just for 16 gauge. It seems that though 16 gauge is becoming a more popular gun, accessories for it are not as popular. I finally found this one and used it right away. So easy, much better than trying to pull a twelve-gauge bore snake through it. Works beautifully.

How to Use a Bore?
Apply a few drops of bore to the front of the bore.
Drop the brass weight at the end of the Bore's black pull cord through the breach at the rear of the barrel and then begin to feed the pull cord down the length of the barrel until the brass weight comes out the end.
Grasp the weight and pull it slightly until you can grasp the pull cord as well.
Wrap the pull cord around your dominant hand and then continue pulling so that the Bore braided nylon floss sweeps through the entire barrel and pull out completely from the end.
Repeat the process as needed and then apply lubricant to the end of cord and pull it through the bore one last time to oil and polish.

Works well, small trap, so even if you miss & hit the backsplash you'd have to have good aim. Nice portable size for travel. Can bring to a friends: garage / backyard / party / whatever. Easy to tell if you hit the target or the backsplash, because even if the target doesn't get pushed up all the way (example - hit side of target) the target will still move, VS if you hit the backsplash it makes a different sound. Used about 1,000 rounds on it & it appears to handle the beating okay. Good color contrast. I'm thinking of painting the targets yellow.

Just got this, it's small but honestly if you can shoot the smaller targets your aim will get better. I'm using a Colt python 357 pellet pistols on it and it took the pellets like a champ small imprints on both the targets and green paint. No major damage but you can tell it was shot. For my use it's going to last a while. I don't advice shooting it with a high powered pellet riffle though perfect for pistols and to practice the fundamentals. The only target that gives me trouble is second from left all the time! Or maybe I just need glasses. Good stuff buy one.

So far I like it. I either shoot the Umarex Beretta 92FS, the Colt 1911 or the S&W 586 with it with no problems so far. Construction seems sturdy enough and the targets work as they should; though you definitely have to get a clean shot in the middle of the targets for them to flip up.I expected it to be small based on some of the reviews and it definitely is; could be a tad larger in general. I'm currently shooting it in my indoor range at about 15 feet and it presents me with a decent challenge. Overall, it's a good change of pace from just shooting paper targets.

It is very durable so you should have no issues if you shoot at it with a .22 for what it is intended for.
