Tips for curling synthetic braided hair from ndpetrify4's blog

Synthetic hair is a great way to switch up your look, whether it's from short to long, loose to braided, or straight to curly. But what happens if you get tired of the bone straight look and want to curl the ends for a special occasion? The traditional methods of curling natural hair will not work on synthetic hair.

To Sum It All Up

I've only recently returned to having longer hair. I had come to a halt because of the tangling and matting issue. Until I discovered the benefits of using heat tools on low settings and steaming. That takes care of the issue, and I can now wear longer wigs as well.

Everyone in this room is on the mark! Thank you for your help! And of course, when it gets too old and too matted and starts to look like brillo, it ends up in my basket of hair, which I wear to the gym under a bandana.

When it comes to my longer units, I am extremely cautious. I try not to pair them with heavy wool sweaters when possible. In the winter, however, I will apply a small amount of Frizz-Ease to the ends of the wigs to protect the synthetic fibers. When the ends get really, really bad, I trim the tiniest bits off.

I just wanted to let you know what I found out.
