World of Warcraft 's Legion expansion introduced a significant overhaul to the way that levels were handled, allowing players to WOW WOTLK Classic Gold choose which order they want to tackle its zones in. At the WoW discussion on the side of BlizzCon, Blizzard revealed it plans to broaden this option to all of WoW, allowing you to have far greater flexibility in how you take on the process of leveling up.
The gameplay won't be as smooth as they did in Legion because zones will contain a level range. This means you won't be able to out-level an area that you want to explore the entire story in, and it means that you won't be able to go back to the beginning area when you've reached the threshold and are forced to fight against the pack of wolves. This will allow you to choose the sequence when you begin exploring expansions.
For example the expansions Outland and Northrend will grow from level 60 to 80. meaning you don't necessarily need to complete Burning Crusade content once you attain a level of around 58. Additionally, all of the above scaling is applicable to rewards and dungeons, in order to let you play as you like without being penalized.
World of Warcraft - Battle for Azeroth Features Overview
Blizzard have been speaking a lot on the brand new Battle for Azeroth expansion. The new leveling system won't be tied directly to that--instead they'll begin to appear in conjunction with the 7.3.5 update. This patch will release on the PTR in the next few weeks.
