Today, we take a look at a new silhouette that has been added to the great adidas archive. The adidas Harden Vol. 5 features the latest technology from adidas and is one brutal basketball sneaker. Among the most tremendous updates is the Futurenatural technology.Futurenatural is a one-piece upper and outsole designed specifically for the fast-paced sport and for which adidas scanned over 1,000 basketball players’ feet, from NBA to recreational players, to design an optimal fit.
Additionally, the adidas Harden Vol. 5 offers comfortable cushioning thanks to the Boost unit. Unfortunately, there is no exact release date yet. It is expected to drop in early 2021.

After scanning 1,000 different feet of basketball consumers, the Futurenatural technology provides a 360-degree fit system with hybrid cushioning and a lightweight upper to support Harden's dynamic style of play, change of direction, and increased movement. Futurenatural is a new process for the creation of shoes, and is a perfect technology for Harden Vol. 5 with James’ dynamic style of play and moves on the court being unlike any other player,” said Rashad Williams, Senior Director of Footwear at Adidas Basketball.
“James offers feedback from a design and feel standpoint, which is extremely important during our creative process and it ultimately led us to develop the Futurenatural technology to match his game.”The one-piece upper features Adidas' BOOST technology across the full-length cushioning insert — the first use of BOOST technology in a basketball sneaker as well as LIGHTSTRIKE which provides lighter cushioning and increased responsiveness.
Aesthetically, the Harden Vol. 5 features a mid-cut upper, with the first colourway offering a clean white base, dressed in abstract coloured patches, with a three-stripe graphic on the mid-sole and Harden's signature logo on the tongue.

The pack comes with two pairs of Jordan 1, the first silhouette Jordan released in collaboration with Nike. Both are high-top sneakers, but one features a red up upper and red Nike swoosh and is called “Air Jordan 1 High 85,” while the other is a mostly white silhouette with red swoosh and is called “Nike Air Ship.” In total, 23,000 packs were released, which is a low quantity for sneakers, and retailed for $350. Due to the limited release, shoppers who were interested in buying the shoes had to register via the SNKRS app days in advance. The app would then draw names to select people who could purchase the sneakers.
Rogelio Rogriguez, a West Side resident, was one of the lucky few whose name came up in the draw and was able to purchase the highly sought after shoes. Rodriguez has been collecting rare shoes for close to five years, his collection includes everything from Yeezys to adidas sneakers made in collaboration with rapper Pharrell William. However, the “New Beginnings” are his most rare shoes to date. When he found out he was able to reserve a pair he was shocked.
“I wasn’t even going to try to get a pair because of how hard it was going to be to reserve them,” he said. “When I got the notification that I had actually got them [“New Beginnings’” pack] I couldn't believe it.”
Rodriguez is not into basketball; however, the shoes still hold value to him because of their history. The “Nike Air Ship” sneakers were to be released in 1984 but never made to the markets, instead they became a prototype for the “Air Jordan 1 High 85,” which came out the following year and were the first Jordan shoes to be sold.
According to Lenar Cook, a worker at SUCCEZZ, an independent shoe store in the South Loop, Jordan sneakers hold additional value in Chicago because of the city’s connections with Michael Jordan.
“Michael Jordan played for the majority of his playing career here in Chicago,” Cook said. “Chicago is Jordan’s city and everybody wants his shoes.”Because the pack is no longer available in stores, those lucky enough to purchase a pair are restoring to selling their pairs on shoe dedicated trading websites like GOAT and StockX for an inflated price.
Rodriguez is one the buyers who’s looking to resell the shoes at a profit. “It's hard to turn down $2000,” he said. “But there are other shoes that I personally like more than the ‘New Beginnings’ pack.”

The "Flint" iteration of the Air Jordan 13 came out in 1998, and according to StockX, the retro release of the Air Jordan 13 "Flint" last May sold 40,000 pairs by July. Lyst revealed the shoe to be the most impactful shoe on fashion in 2020 in a ranking of the top 10 sneakers of the year.
The "Red Flint" variation offers a slight change, with the bold gym red hue the dominant color while meshing with the Flint Gray. The shoe's most notable features, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the holographic eye near the collar, are still there. Jordan Brand will start selling the shoe May 1 at 10 a.m. ET for a retail price of $190.

What an absolute beauty both the home and away kits are. Starting with the all blue home kit which is just pure. The white panels on the ribs also add a really nice touch. City have kept it simple, like a lot of teams this season, and the end product is sensational. Note to all kit suppliers: simplicity is underrated.
City have kept it simple with their away kit too and the crisp white kit with a hint of purple and pink is a lovely addition from Puma. Well done. Top of the Premier League last season and top of the new Premier League kit rankings this summer.Simple but with a touch of class, this Liverpool home shirt is a beauty. The slight diagonal lines through the kit are beautiful, and so too is the orangey-red trim. Their away kit pushes them up in our latest rankings, as it is a nod to some of their past away jerseys and is extremely stylish. You can wear that away number with some jeans out at the pub.
Gorgeous third and away kits from Hummel, who have a nod to Everton’s past. The Danish brand are back in the soccer game in a big way and they’re doing a fantastic job to update some of these retro looks. Everton’s fans are happy. With their kit.
As for the home kit, well, a lot of Everton fans were underwhelmed as it was released after the away kit but it is still very nice. Hummel are fast becoming one of the go-to kit brands.A lovely retro look to the yellow away jersey. The logo is a throwback one too, and I love how huge it is! This shade of yellow is also fantastic and really takes you back to the 1970s. Which, with a retro design, is precisely what they’re trying to do. Well done. As for the home kit, it’s okay. Nothing too special about it, but it’s not bad either. The blue trim and sponsor stripes is a nice touch and looks like the kits from the glorious mid 1990s.
Keeping it simple is sometimes the best thing to do and Spurs have done that. The result is this elegant number, and it will be a huge favorite with the fans. The sleek look and pure white design is classic and this is retro with modern touches. Will Harry Kane be wearing this kit, though?
As for the away kit, well, it’s out there. The cosmic theme is definitely different and you know what, I kind of like it. There’s a lot of negativity around Spurs right now given the Kane saga, taking a long time to hire a new manager and more, but they’ve had some fun with this away kit. It’s so different that it works.

ITALDESIGN DAVINCI CONCEPT SHOWCASES GULLWING DOOR BEFORE GENEVA DEBUT
Although it has designed only one mainstream car over the last decade, the Audi Q2 in 2017, Italdesign penned the Nissan GT-R50 limited edition and a few impressive concept cars in recent years. The concept is worthy of its name, taken from the famous Renaissance-era painter, thanks to its striking exterior design that combines race-inspired, aggressive features with smooth cues typical of classic grand tourers.
Finished in bright red paint, the DaVinci features an organic front fascia with an aggressive splitter that incorporates no fewer than eight tiny vents. We don’t know whether these are functional not, but they definitely look cool. The big vents on the sides, the hexagonal, closed-off grille, and the extremely slim headlamps round of the front fascia.Because it features one big gullwing door on each side, the four-seater doesn’t have B-pillars, which further intensify its sleek and sporty appearance.
The rear fascia is equally impressive. The spoiler gently extends beyond the trunk lid to wrap around the fascia, while the turbine-look, twin taillights remind me of classic Ferraris. The clean bumper is abruptly interrupted by a massive two-piece diffuser that signals tremendous performance coming from under the shell.The interior is a cool mix of classic and modern features. There’s a big, tablet-style display on the center console, two additional screens on the passenger-side dashboard, and a sizeable digital instrument cluster to follow all of the car’s function. The center stack incorporates touch-sensitive controls for the A/C system and subtle hexagonal vents. The steering wheel has a flat top and bottom, as well as touch-sensitive controls on two of the three spokes.
Moving over to the classy cues, the dashboard features a thin chrome stripe that runs from the steering wheel toward the passenger-side corner and then extends into the wrap-around door panels. This feature seems to be a nod to vintage American cars. Both the door panels and the lower dash have clean, simple designs, as does the center console beyond the infotainment display. While the rear seats seem a bit cramped, the front compartment offers generous legroom and elbow room.With the Zerouno coupe fitted with the 5.2-liter V-10 from parent company Audi, the DaVinci likely also borrows an electric powertrain from the German firm, which in turns has access to technology from the Volkswagen Group. For instance, Italdesign could use the 764-horsepower electric drivetrain that Audi showcased in the PB18 e-tron concept in 2018. This motor-battery combo also provides a 310-mile range, which is quite appealing in today’s EV market.
