Wuyahong's blog

AutoModerator is effective at OSRS Items accomplishing this, but it will not stop players from posting OSRS content or questions unless this subreddit were to be content. Furthermore, it seems that lots of articles fitting this criteria are posts from users who will gravitate towards 2007 Runescape after being redirected, which happens in the remarks currently. If we were to attempt this with AutoModerator, posts removed or will get filtered that are on issue. If there is a post needlessly filtered, removed this may create some frustration, or receives.

For a time, we used to have so that it was removed, but there were far too many false positives together with posts which were not filtered. Our reasons for needing to filter these posts were to remove articles which have an uncensored phishing url (possibly putting other users at risk) and eliminating posts which attempted to ask Jagex because of help associated with a hijacking after getting one of these emails (Rule 7).

While mechanically flagging these posts might not be practical, we may have the ability to boost our Account Help Wiki webpages by incorporating advice. The official RuneScape Wiki has some great information in respect to these scams in addition to many others that are found out and inside of Runescape.

Yes, those who remark connected to another sub them, but sometimes keep it on the opposite and only they have a tendency to delete the post on here. If a response doesn't work a warning that appears before submitting? We know of the bottom into the OSRS sub at the Partner Subreddits segment, but most people who post OSRS only themed articles, do not even appear there, as they didn't knew the existence of the 2007 Runescape subreddit and are thankful whenever the people who remark mention, its becoming clear that the bottom resulting in the sub on the side bar isn't enough. I had believed the one that was phishing would be hard to implement, props for trying. On filtering phishing urls before thinking 16, I concur.

But yea about phishing some more action might have to be taken, these malicious classes are advancing their ways to catch unsuspecting victims increasingly nowadays. We have phishing streams on twitch, phishing ads to RuneScape and OSRS in most social media platforms (I wouldn't be shocked if one of these malicious ads eventually make its way to this sub ad locations) along with also the classic phishing emails and fake websites. I have even seen some poor attempts to phishing being submitted on this sub that result in bogus forums and I am glad they've been eliminated before anybody fell victim.

The real problem with phishing posts may also be the spam that the sub will eventually get, phishing emails have been sent in a wave to different mails of potential players, let's say like 10 percent of these have a reddit accounts, they are going to want to warn everyone else from their attempt and so there will be several posts looking the same, all of which may be oblivious it's been submitted before. It can eventually find tedious. Which then can lead others to ignore a legit clueless player who's asking whether it is real or not, that's why I suggested an automated response of Buy RS3 Gold some type, at least a little warning to take care or something like this. Additionally thanks for clarifying the email to forward phishing mails has become over, I understood of this forum thread, although not the fact that they stopped the email.
These would probably match the standards to RS3 Gold also receive a reply redirecting them to 2007 Runescape once the intention was to post, which isn't ideal as it would be irrelevant to the post topic and likely lead to complaints. Furthermore, if the criteria is too specific, it is unlikely that the few posts which are intended to obtain this reply will activate it. It's much easier for a individual to identify these posts than a bot, and setting up it to be intended is much easier said than done for advantage.

Why are folks so toxic to new players? Wouldn't max and the high players need people to play? More people = more cash, more upgrades (possibly if more started playing, paying( and demanding it) and more people in Runescape game that will grow the market and maintain Runescape lasting more. When they're labeled as such honestly, new players are treated by us well. Dig up any ribbon in which the OP acknowledges themselves new and folks here actually pile the majority of the time.

It's older, returning players that ask questions we treat poorly. Unless they are asking about the state of Runescape(which implies they are not invested in Runescape again nonetheless ), normally we bad mouth them about how they might possibly be requesting whatever it is they are asking. The neighborhood is really smart. If somebody is uninvested in Runescape, everyone is full support towards them. If they spent, no one actually cares.

So, I tardy into the celebration and I apologize for this. I do think using a query thread would be beneficial in the long run. However, it's more a matter of managing what the topics are. Since we could only have two at a time which is a massive bummer. I replied to someone sooner agreeing that we could start creating a weekly post which links to news/update posts are added as the week goes on and they are published to Runescape's website. And that proposal and I handed on to the rest of the group. What we're doing now is a matter of,"What exactly do we believe has to be viewed the many?" Having it on one single post and upgraded could help solve that matter. Even if it's only temporary, it is better to have something than nothing.

It has troubled me several times since I switched from OSRS. I thought the OSRS Reddit community was shitty but at least if I posted a question (if it be in a ribbon or it's own thread) folks would not make me feel as if I'm doing something unpleasant. I have always seen the downvote button like a relevancy indicator, and just really downvote stuff if it is wildly off topic. It seems like this sub just likes to downvote individuals for being new, I can't say I understand it, but I don't really give a shit anymore. Should my queries maintain neutral karma? Definitely, they're just queries. Nothing inherently negative or positive about them. Do they? No, but occasionally they even back out to neutral after first getting several downvotes (seems some people are aware that downvoted questions get suppressed and attempt to bring them back up). It should not be like that.

It was a bizarre transition as it had been, switching to eoc. My friend convinced me to change over I maxed and got bored of OSRS, after. We're buds irl and he told his clan about me contemplating switching, they have a 2.4k total restriction but they knew who I was so when I finally switched over they ranked me at the clan straight off tut island and everyone was super welcoming and awesome, then I came here and felt just like I was kinda being educated"fuck away noob." Glad I did not, Buy Old School RS Gold is superb. This sub wants work, but there are definitely a ton of really great helpful people who have been at it for quite a while, they deserve some credit too.

If the answers which are easily found on the wiki obtained downvoted I'd like to add, it'd make some sense. I also feel bizarre even talking about downvotes, isn't there like an unwritten rule about not doing that? I feel like the entire hostility to questions thing is another symptom of efficiencyscape, except instead of criticizing people for training abilities inefficiently, it is criticizing people for seeking replies inefficiently. Only the most effective method (studying wiki) is allowed, everything is incorrect, even though asking different players will nonetheless provide an answer.

So people should play with a singleplayer game and never talk to anyone because everything is on the wiki and there's no justification for making talks. No wonder public chat is so dead relative to 10 years ago and folks speak more about politics than about Runescape, because politics is based on view rather than about the wiki. I get it. The wiki did not exist for a whole lot of players. When I originally began (then quit, then moved to OSRS decades later) we didn't have a wiki. It's really just a case of"I learned Runescape the hard way, you can also" imo.

That's just kinda the nature of the playerbase, older people who've been playing forever for the most part. I don't think I have played Runescape together with the wiki. While afking some shit, if I am not pvming I reading pages. It sucks that I would rather read the wiki than talk to people beyond my clan while skilling however I do not lose sleep on it.

There's two issues. New players making query's about Runescape, then becoming downvoted without an answer. The solution is that the Weekly Megathread which I think solves the dilemma of collecting everyone with Basic Questions into a single location (you know those replies already). However, I do not believe in the Subreddit users, I believe just a couple of them are going to 2007 RS Accounts redirect these new users into the Megathreadothers will just answer their queries, while others will still downvote them (that will be the problem this informative article focused on, as fas as I am aware).
NCAA players we are likely to see in NBA 2K22 MT

March is a big month for many different reasons. Lots of people look forward to having a pleasant Shamrock Shake, but some look forward to a nice corn beef and cabbage meal on St. Patrick's Day. However, in regards to the sports world, March is revolved around among the most iconic sports tournaments in history. Many people understand it as NCAA Basketball tournament, but most folks know it as March Madness. March Madness is not just any ordinary tournament and Bracket building event. It gives a number of school's most skilled basketball athletes and colleges an opportunity to showcase their abilities as they attempt to pave a larger path to the future of a game they enjoy. While it may not have become the best feeling at the time, March Madness 2021 is set to give the world an remarkable showcase of talent all in under a one month time period.

Though some of these college stars may make a return to their college next year, others are playing in their final games of the school career. For some of those college athletes who are playing in their final NCAA games, it will be the end online. However, there'll be some players that are lucky enough to keep their basketball career and potentially be drafted in the NBA. This only means that the NBA might have some familiar NCAA celebrities from this current year, but that also implies that those players that get drafted will be making their way to NBA 2K22 once it releases later on this year. These are NCAA players you should keep an eye on during March Madness as you're likely to see at NBA 2K22.

Scottie Barnes (Florida State) (SF)

Scottie Barnes might not be playing basketball at the highest of levels at the instant when it comes to his shooting abilities, but that is not his strongest attribute nonetheless. Scottie Barnes is a very good playmaker who is able to help his teammates in receiving the ball into the hoop. Barnes has just started 7 from his 19 games played this year which may appear to be a disappointed. However, even though he hasn't started a slew of games, Barnes remains averaging 10.4 PPG. Florida State appreciates Barnes' playmaking ability and even coming off the bench he's still a huge threat on the ground. Barnes is shooting 49.7% in the field and a disappointing 56.9% from the free throw line.

For someone who is not even 20 years old yet, his game is going to continue to improve down the line. While his shooting from the field isn't terrible, it's going to need to get better to be an elite competitor in the NBA. As it stands now, defense is a significant portion of all Scottie Barnes game. The amount of energy that this man has at such a young age can also be something which shouldn't be brushed away. There are a few NBA teams that will see value from the kid by having them apart of the group. Even if Barnes ends up getting drafted, he may not get a ton of playing time. Regardless, he could be an important advantage in the NBA. In case Scottie Barnes ends up playing in the NBA next season, you may be able to play him in Buy MT NBA 2K22.
Tried to do a duo at OSRS Gold corp for a few hours last night and got our kill taken every moment. People might wait using a zest until corps stats drain to zero then run in with two accounts, one with transfer and one smacking it with a crystal halberd. We attempted using the portal, but the 200k feels just like a punishment for trying to play Runescape legit as well as it significantly slowed our kill time because we needed to wait for each other to enter in as not to eliminate the instance. I know this was a problem for a very long time, but when we don't keep reminding the Jmods which it is a problem nothing will ever get done. I hope this doesn't come off as whiny. It felt quite demoralizing seeing people despair for hours on end without any repercussions. Are being farmed by poisonous individuals that are too lazy to put at work for a kill. This is the most helpless I've ever felt playing with OSRS.

As somebody who's been crashed in a way that was similar lately, I've discovered a way to frighten the crashers is to utilize a tele-other spell. They must have in order to receive move that is spec gained on help, so they can be interrupted by you with the tele-other instant and possibly even have them killed if corp has not been deprived of magic accuracy. It is the unfortunate truth. If you are in a duo attempt to drain his stats only enough to ensure your buddy and you can just eliminate a kill. This way when some retard tries to crash you can step out of this space and theyll get completely stomped out from the corp monster even with his moves.

If you get crashed by a team of two or more it is tough luck, but the attractiveness of the method that is above is your spec time cuts down to 1 second or less so you can hop and it's hardly any time lost. I have had some real great pleasure watching crashers become lit the fuck up by corp and have to tele out since they are bad at Runescape. Yeah, I guess you are right. We could take back a few kills from them, some of these came and spec transferred me instead of the dude which was hilarious lol. Yeah this shit stinks but wtf do you anticipate jagex to perform? Crashing is part of Runescape and frankly was.

You talk about playing Runescape untrue but drain corp's stats. Like I remember this boss actually being strong as shit. To being a chicken, now you pretty much drain him that sometimes will hit 40. Neither of you is doing corp as planned, what they do is not against any rule and shouldn't be. That said contemplate against becoming crashed working. If ur so you spend less time lowering stats duoing, in with arclight/darklight rather than bgs, do like 200 dmg instead of 300 with the bgs. Or find an alt to hold open an instance. You ai not getting punished, ur paying 200k. Or ya know practice what you preach and do corp"untrue", no drains will be gonna scare off most crashers cuz it is a waste of Buy OSRS Accounts the time.

I'm unsure that sums up the planned message. My previous comment explains why these two changes have not been made together with some information that is related. We're open to OSRS Gold suggestions that could be possible to implement without detracting from the purpose of this subreddit and its community.

I mean, yeah your previous comment lays out just why the communities tips, in your view, are inferior to the system you have in place currently. If anything the opinion represented by the OP are more in line with the'vision' of the subreddit (needing to include both RS3 and OSRS (which in itself is absurd being they've seperate content, dev teams etc. but like my opinion man)) by stating your content has a house here but if its seeing anything in specificity to go elsewhere, similar to the way the Reddit FC is/was run.

So rather than tuning ity'all yanked it? Tell me again how your team thinks your system is not fine compared to community suggestions. I have obtained a email that I believe to be a phishing attempt, I must sift through the wiki, email'email speech that when I sort could get me banned for submitting a phishing link', get an answer that says"this email was stopped", return to the wiki to discover you have to report it on the forums, then login to runescape but not about the phishing attempt tab, then return back to the homepage not the forum sub-topic you asked, conduct the login temple of despair again, find the sub-topic, then the article and report the scam.

Rather than requesting a community of 234,037 people and using a bot hit your inbox near instantly together:"If you believe you have received a phishing effort please verify sender address (example), domain (example), here are the usual examples (hyperlink ). In case you have received an attempt please report it at (helpful navigation to get to forum post."

In regard to our system"working fine as is," we are aware that it's not ideal, but there isn't always a solution that fulfills issues from all perspectives. Additionally, there are different issues taking up our time, and we're just volunteers, thus we do not always have the time to devote to address a number of those smaller problems. My previous remarks were meant to explain why the problem stands as it currently does for the specific issues mentioned, not explain why things will not change.

The vast majority of users see the subreddits as being independent anyway ( runescape = RS3 and 2007 runescape = Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold), so this isn't something we've needed to tackle prominently because the quantity of OSRS-related submissions here is minimal. 1 complication with article filtering is it can't be assumed users will always use criteria in a place that will trip a filter since this isn't necessarily the case. AutoModerator filters based on particular standards, so building an accurate list that's only specific to what you are attempting to capture is not always possible.
