Although the game's gameplay was hugely popular Street mode as well as Nba 2k22 Mt the Association mode were equally highly praised. One of the cool features on the PlayStation 3 was the ability to shoot free shots using the same motion that is used in a real shot. The athlete on the cover was Shaquille Oleal.

NBA 2K7 was actually Shaq's second consecutive year as a cover. The first time was NBA 2K6. Allen Iverson and Shaq were the only two players to have numerous solo covers at the time. The album was widely praised for features like the design, music, and the gameplay.

However there were some issues with the buttons and it felt like similar to the previous game as not much was included to enhance or improve upon. Although it might not seem significant it was, the design of the menu was widely criticised. Some even described them as ugly.

It could be argued that the most famous player to appear on the cover of these games was Kobe Bryant in NBA 2K10. It was actually an significant entry in the series due to a significant reason. It was the game to introduce the MyPlayer mode, which has remained an absolute favorite a decade later. Of course there were some issues to resolve, but it was an immensely well-received new addition to the series. Summer League and Doris Burke who was the sideline reporter were welcome additions. However, there were some technical issues with the game particularly following its release.

Prior to when ESPN NBA 2K5 was released at the time, the ESPN license was added to this game in a major manner. It was a significant entry since it was the last NBA game to be released by SEGA prior to the time that the company was acquired. Although the ESPN presentation was certainly the best, it was eventually discontinued. The game included Ben Wallace on the cover as the first player other than Allen Iverson to do so. The game had two modes to play, 24/7 and Association. Both received mixed reviews. This was still an excellent game, and 2k22 mt buy the price of $20 was a great value.
