In the beginning, as the first WoW expansion had a lot at stake WoTLK Gold, and it delivered. The expansion introduced the game's first new races--the Draenei and the Blood Elves. They have shaken up the meta and also new zones, more PvP content, as well as more.


The old is now new in the form of The Burning Crusade launched for WoW Classic today it allows players to relive old TBC in the same way they remember it all those years ago. Prior to the launch, P2Pah spoke to Blizzard's Brian Birmingham (lead software engineer) and John Hight (executive producer for WoW and vice president at Blizzard) Both of who have been with the studio that developed games. They were looking back and reflecting on the launch and impact in The Burning Crusade.


They also shared how it was revisiting the expansion as WoW Classic and they shared some behind-the-scenes stories from its development. The developers also touched on revisiting the expansion in order to bring it back in WoW Classic The developers also discussed the challenges they had to change the game's features and systems to reflect modern game development methods, and the things they're most proud of in The Burning Crusade.


"It's such a huge game with a lot of little nooks and crannies. Our players have been great at pointing out areas that there is a need for further study," Birmingham said. "We are able to dig deep and strive to ensure that we're as correct as we possibly could. I'm extremely proud of the fact that we came this so close."

WoW's The Burning Crusade expansion was an enormous success. Being the first expansion of WoW the game, it introduced many big and forward-looking updates and enhancements in buy WoTLK Gold the MMO. If you think about it more than 14 years later, how do you think about its legacy and impact?
